We will be looking at maps. Everyone needs to be able to read a map to find where they are going!

You will be identifying and using symbols on a map to find information about Africa.

1.      Listen to map skills video clip

2.      Review fun quetions

3.      Go into lab

4.      Open up Internet Explorer

5.      Scroll down to Visit the Library

6.      Click on NWMMS WebQuest Link

7.      Under 1st & 2nd Grade click on Map Skills

8.      Scroll down to RESOURCES

9.      Click on the link under Britannica Encyclopedia

10. Scroll down to find AFRICA and click on it.

11.  Notice the tabs above the map

12. Look at map to find answer to question 1

13. Click on the tab Physical

14. Look at map to find answer to question 2

15. Click on the tab Land Use

16. Look at the map to find answer to question 3

17. Click on the tab Population

18. Look at the map to find answer to question 4

19. You may now look any of the maps until the end of the class
